I am a Vancouver-based communications specialist, interdisciplinary artist and PhD Student

I have been working on community-driven arts and literary projects for over a decade with a special focus on climate change, social movements and human rights. I am currently a PhD student at UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) researching coastal adaptation and Indigenous governance and a Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions’ (PICS) scholar with the Living With Water* Project. My research addresses coastal and watershed planning challenges and I work to support Indigenous-led adaptation initiatives and the restoration of critical salmon habitat across BC’s southern coastal/intertidal and riparian environments.

I am a half-Norwegian settler living on the unceded and unsurrendered territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) & səl̓ilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples in Vancouver, ‘British Columbia’.

I work best in collaborative, interdisciplinary settings and enjoy experimenting with a range of mixed-media engagement tools to conceptualize solutions to major cultural-ecological planning and design challenges.

My written work, film contributions and photos have been published/exhibited at The London International Documentary Film Festival, The Centre for Performance Research (NYC), The Georgia Straight, the Vancouver Art Book Fair, Nowness.com, Booooooom.TV, Cannes, The Guardian, Vice, HoBo, The Toronto Public Library, Huck Magazine, ORB - and for Norsk Billedkunst, Dagens Næringsliv, Bergens Tidende + more in Norway.
